Who should buy Miko Mini
Buy Miko Mini if the screen is the point and the budget is tight — it is the least expensive way into this category, and a five-year-old who wants to watch as well as listen will prefer it. Three hours of play is the trade you are making, and for a device that lives on a desk near a socket, that may not matter at all.
Where Jubbo is different
One activity at a time, chosen by you, with an end. That is the whole design, and it is the reason there is no screen: a box with nothing to look at cannot become the thing a child stares at. It is also why Jubbo does not hold open-ended conversations — not because it could not, but because a bounded activity is what we wanted to build.
