How can we help?
Setting up, Wi-Fi, what is kept, and what to do when the box has gone quiet.
Guides
How do I set up my Jubbo?
Plug it in, open the app, and follow it. About five minutes, once.
Jubbo will not connect to Wi-Fi
Almost always one of three things, and the first is the most common by far.
How do I add another child?
Add each child separately, and Jubbo matches the activity to whoever is playing.
What does Jubbo record?
The microphone opens only inside an activity. The audio is not kept.
How do I delete our data?
From the app, and it takes effect immediately.
Jubbo has gone quiet
Usually that is correct. Here is how to tell the difference.
Common questions
How do I set up my Jubbo?
Plug the box in and open the parent app. It walks you through joining the box’s own jubbo-setup network, choosing your home Wi-Fi, and reading the pairing code off the box’s eyes. It takes about five minutes.
Jubbo will not connect to Wi-Fi.
Jubbo has a 2.4 GHz radio only, so it cannot see a 5 GHz network. If your router publishes both under one name, the box may need that name split, or a 2.4 GHz guest network of its own.
Is Jubbo an AI companion or chatbot?
No. Jubbo is a smart toy that plays one activity at a time — a story, a word game or a quiz — and then stops. There is no open-ended chat, no persona that remembers your child, and nothing runs unless a parent has switched it on.
The box has gone quiet.
That is usually correct behaviour: between activities Jubbo rests, and it does not talk unless something has been started. If the eyes are dark or the app shows it offline, unplug it for ten seconds and plug it back in.
Nothing here helps
Write to info@getjubbo.com. Say what you were doing and what the eyes were doing, and a person will answer.
