Quiz rounds, out loud

Jubbo asks, your child answers out loud, and the round ends.

These are the activities where the box is asking rather than telling. It says something, waits, hears what comes back, and responds to it — then moves to the next one and, after a set number, stops.

The rhythm matters more than it sounds. A times-table chant works because it keeps time; a praise line after every answer breaks it, and a child who loses the rhythm forgets the table. So a right answer gets a tick and the next line straight away, and a wrong one gets the fact said plainly and rolled into the next.

Nobody is graded aloud when a child is playing alone, or alongside a grown-up. The score still reaches you in the app — it is just not something the box announces to a child sitting by themselves.

Two of these are marked as still on their way into the app. They are built, and the box plays them; what they are waiting on is an app release that shows them. Revise a chapter is the one worth waiting for if your child has exams: you photograph the pages of a schoolbook chapter and Jubbo asks about that chapter, whatever board you are on.
